Harry E. "Bud" Kountz, 79, of Louisville, passed away Saturday at Caritas Medical Center. He was a retired driver for Kelley Technical Coatings, a member of American Legion Post #229 and Moose Lodge #5 and a US Army veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret "Peg" Kountz in 2002. He is survived by his daughters, Anna Marie Polk, Susan Carol Baker and Barbara Jo Kountz; four sisters, Margaret Hourigan, Doris Wilkerson, Betty Fenwick and Joan Hammer; and his brother, John Kountz. He is also survived by two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with entombment in Evergreen Mausoleum. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Monday. Memorial contributions may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
